PowerSkin SolarCharge for Mobile Phones & More - Description

The OP1001, or SolarCharge, is a charger which features 1000 mAh of power and extends talk time on smartphones for up to 350 minutes. The SolarCharge is composed of plastic housing, but comes with a silicone skin that is shock-absorbent, providing protection for the charger. The SolarCharge is great for the outdoors since it charges efficiently off of natural light. It can also be re-charged indoors or from a USB. Equipped with a carabiner clip, the SolarCharge is perfect for attaching to a bag or backpack, fueling that on-the-go lifestyle. It also comes with a standard Micro-USB. However, other tips can be ordered online through the "Free Tips for Life Program."

By implementing efficient light-sensing technology, the SolarCharge can capture rays of sunlight at an accelerated rate, compared to other solar chargers. Not only do the cells respond to different types of light better compared to standard solar panels, they also generate up to 50% more power. Once the LED light turns green, the SolarCharge is ready to be used. To determine the amount of battery life left in the charger, press a button located on the back.
