What a superb phone!

A minor glitche aside (Zoom scroll bar not working) this phone is superb! Having used a Dell Axim x5 for years, I was distraught when I could no longer sync once I had Windows 7. Now, I have everything that ever existed in the Axim, plus a phone, plus a camera, plus an MP3/4 player, plus plus plus! What a bonus ... Now all I have to do is get it connected by wi-fi to my home network!! ... Plus

Why buy a laptop!

This phone is everything I have been waiting for, although I wish I had been a bit more patient and waited for the HD2. Regardless, I am a very satisfied user. I did a lot of research and waited about 2 years until the phone I wanted came out...whoever that was. HTC Touch Diamond 2 was the best choice just over a year ago. I have downloaded some 3rd party apps (SPB) and the features I wished it had that I saw on other phones are now on my phone, so it walks and talks just like my wife's iphone. I did buy a laptop and then learned I could have bought a redfly for $200 (google it) for the phone, and saved a lot of money and ended up with a device that did the job of a phone or laptop, big screen, full keyboard, 8 hour battery life just with one connecting cable to the phone. HTC did an excellent job. The reception on the phone is terrific too. I purchased a Garmin SD GPS card and it works beautifully. Bought a window mount for the car, blue tooth antenna to improve signal reception (though I didn't have too). Yep, I'm lovin' it.... Plus

Excellent handset

Just to let you all know, you can how download an official new ROM from HTC for this handset which will upgrade to the new Windows Mobile 6.5 operating system. Overall I think this is a great phone. It performs well, and is loaded with just about every feature you could need. The HTC TouchFlo interface takes away some of the clunkiness of the windows interface (although this is much improved with the new 6.5 ROM). A couple of small negative points are the lack of a flash for the 5mp camera, and no 3.5mm headphone jack (although you can get adapters to allow you to plug in your own headphones). Overall, a great system for the size and cost.... Plus

Great Windows Device

I’ve used windows devices for years and the HTC TD2 makes all others seem prehistoric I use windows mobile mainly for the dairy but have found this a great all round device without being to bulky

Device eccellente

Sono un fan HTC, li provo quasi tutti con critiche sia positive che negative, deovo dire che questo Diamond2 è veramente il miglior prodotto realizzato fino ad oggi da HTC. come punti a favore sicuramente ci sono: manegevolezza, design, tfd3 aggiornato molto fluido e veloce, brillantezza schermo, ed anche il prezzo mi semra abbastanza raggionevole. il gps e velocissimo anche a freddo e la batteria per un uso bissinis dura una giornata. in toto veramente un bel gioiellino.... Lovin' it!

Touchflo, screen, camera, and battery life all big improvements over diamond 1. Not a single problem so far - excellent for a newly released device. It's a little bigger than the original but that's to be expected with the larger battery. Windows mobile is buried even deeper than before with the Touchflo interface integrated into just about everything. It will interesting to see what extra benefit WM 6.5 will bring. Tomtom 6 installed and running with no issues. Only negative thing so far is that Opera feels a little sluggish. Highly recommended. ... Plus
