Cutting edge elegance
I've upgraded from HTC Desire and the speed difference is amazing. Motoblur is packed up with some really cool features. The only draw back I faced is lack of Arabic language support. Hope it ll be fixed in the promissed Ice Cream upgrade.

Suprisingly impressive
I dithered over going for such a pocket full of screen, but having taken the plunge I am very pleased with the noticeable improvements. Faster at everything Massive very clear screen Light Slim Even she screen has a slippier feel, making use more precise. And best of all, much to my surprise, Swype. A new way of typing, it took nothing more than trying it to be fluent. Its easy, fast and intuitive. My only moan, and its a small one, is the Motorola branding, to front. Its gash and interrupts an otherwise flawless design. I'm a happy bunny. Great phone and worthwhile replacement for the Nexus One which suffered the common power button failure.

RAZR EU/UK Version, Unbranded, No Labels
In short : If I could emulate an iPhone4 on this, I'd show'em hell. While I was flirting with disaster when I had my eye on the Atrix a while ago which promised incredible innovation from a unit that lives in the cloud with aps, enables users to plug it into a Lapdock device as "the engine" and a few things, I found that she failed on a number of things. Thing one would be the outdated Android version - Motorola has tackled this by th idea of rolling out an update into 4 in Q1 this year. Moto also advertised a lot of really nice things in terms of accesories and conveniences with the Atrix that they don't put up on their website, which lead me to the conclusion that they might not be around for the new RAZR - until i bumped into al the goodies and more at Expansys. While the RAZR910 that is available at Expansys certainly has a lower release number than the XT912, the only difference here is the expanded network protocols of the 912 that one can use in the U.S. and - unless this has changed meanwhile - at NetCologne in Germany. Nice forAmerican citizens and people around Cologne in Germany who are planning to stay on their home turf, irrelevant for anyone else, I reckon. Other than the Moto website, Expansys offers the full pallette of accesories, the LapDock, the USB MultiMedia dock and the MultiMedia plug. Each of these enables the option to pop your phone into an HDMI monitor and run the thing on a keyboard/mouse combo. While I was not certain if the dock I bought would take anything other than Moto proprietory hardware, I was pleasantly surprised when I could operate the whole WebTop thing on my rather generic USB Keyboard/Mouse and HDMI connection into my 24" widescreen TFT. Resolution of the webtop is way below what the monitor can provide, but this is a third day first impression that I might need to re-evaluate after being more familiar with the unit. Given, that she's not on offer with any mobile network retailer in Ireland and that the first thing I received was a "unknown device, please contact support" message, I spent a ot of time to hook her up to 3G and packet data with no success until I learned that the thing simply switches off 3G/EDGE/HDSPA when there is a Wireless Network around, like the one from my gateway at home. Despite the provider message, the machine is online on packet data with no setup - a bit of a shame that she didn't tell me so. She seems to be running sufficiently long on one battery load, it took some 20 hours since the last charge and a lot of "screen-on" while I was trying to fix the non-existing problem with the 3G packet data to get the battery into 30% capacity - I reckon, this tpy will get me through any day with a bit of a long evening at any time without recharge as she comes. If not, there are always the Moto "Smart Actions" that let you configure the device to do a lot of energy saving things, depending on multiple triggers. In addition to that, MotoBlur - should you chose to register for it - enables you to track your devide location from any browser anywhere, reset yor PIN and even wipe your data - steal that, idiot and see how long it lasts. There's also the option of syncing your media at the home PC with the device, which means . . I could sit in Timbuktu with my RAZR, hook her up to any HDMI screen around and stream my movies from the paired harddisk at the comp back home (this is a technical statement regarding possible options, disregarding roamimg cost
