Bricked - Won''t Reboot

Got my S710, turned it on and it was working fine. I setup the clock, my email, etc. and and it seemed fine. Then I changed the system language to US - English and the locale to the same (both came as UK). It prompted me to reboot for the changes to take effect, so I did. But, the phone i stuck cycling between the white HTC screen and the Windows Mobile boot screen. HTC sreen comes up, phone vibrates briefly, WinMo screen comes up, back to the HTC screen, vibrates, WinMo, HTC, vibrate... you get the point. I tried removing the battery and replacing it, charing the phone, etc. Nothing works, phone won''t boot.

Is there a hard reset button combination to reset it to the ROM?

Is this a known issue? Did I get a bad phone? Thanks for any help.

It seems a number of users have reprted this on different places on the forum (didn''t realize this one phone had a half dozen sections dedicated to it). Either way, I managed to get my phone working by removing the SIM, booting, powering off and then reinserting the SIM. The next start-up came up fine. A few others say holding down a button works, but it didn''t for me... One way or another sounds like only a few days after release there is a significant bug in boot up that needs to be fixed.

Was configuring a pair of these phones, back-to-back, and second behaved as described in first post.  Realized (by looking at other phone) I was getting no signal.  Moved to a different room, got signal, phone rebooted properly.
